  • EUROPEAN SCHOOLNET and Switzerland. European Schoolnet (www.eun.org) is the network of 31 Ministries of Education in Europe and beyond. EUN was created more than 10 years ago with the aim to bring about innovation in teaching and learning to its key stakeholders: Ministries of Education, schools, teachers and researchers.
    European Schoolnet’s activities are divided among three areas of work:
    · Policy, research and innovation
    · Schools services
    · Learning resource exchange and interoperability
    Switzerland is part of the EU Schoolnet : Swiss Agency for ICT in education – This organisation is member of SwissMedia

  • CCTF-Swiss Council forICT and Education TheCDIP, in collaboration with the Federal Officefor Professional Educationand Technology(OPET) and the State Secretariat for Educationand Research(SER),directed since the fall of 2005 the Swiss Council ICT and Education (CCTF). The CCTF is coordinating the strategy of the Confederation and the cantons as well as its implementation in the integration of information technology and communication (ICT) in schools and in teaching at all levels and in all the areas of education.The CCTF replaces the ICT Task Forceand Training was created in summer 2000.The Task Force was born at the time to follow the news, is transferred to a fixed structure, while keeping the same objectives.The Secretariat is, as previously heldby the CTIE.   • RCSO-TIC Competence Network of Western Switzerland in information technology and communication. Therapid development of information technology has brought with it at hird industrial revolution.To remain competitive, companies need to monitor or actively contribute. To increase their competitiveness, the network of ICT-skills RCSO has established a comprehensive rangeof services:
    -applied research and developmentof products/ servicesIT
    -technological studies, consulting,businesscourses
    -platform testing, laboratories (professional equipment, experienced staff)
    -technical and logistic support for thecreation and developmentof businesses
    The RCSO-TIC is a member of ICTnet (national network of expertise ininformation technologya nd communication). It combines the activities of R& D and delivery of theUniversity of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland. It is a member of SwissMedia.
