The new Green IT node project investigates the needed skills and competences for green ICT jobs. The project started in November 2011 and address the shortage of skilled professionals in the Green IT field. During the 24 months of the project, Green IT node will analyse the market needs, the existing trainings available for the different components and competences, and define a professional standard in the participating European countries.
The ECVET Bulletin is replaced by ECVET Magazine, which will be published 5 times a year.
The new Magazine will give the latest news on policy developments on Vocational Education and Training at European and national level. Two issues (in summer and winter) will focus more specifically on the activities of the ECVET Network. The additional three issues will provide information on the work and outcomes of the ECVET pilot projects funded by the European Commission.
The present issue includes an interesting article on the approach used in the SME Master Plus project for « developing a learning outcomes matrix » in three steps.
The ECVET Bulletin for April 2010 is now available. Amongst others it contains an article on a set of guidelines developed by the ECVET pilot projects regarding design and description of units of learning outcomes in the perspective of transnational mobility.
The November 2009 ECVET Bulletin is now available. Amongst an interesting array of articles is also « Understanding the relationship between sectors and the EQF ». Enjoy the reading!
