The Future of e-Learning Jobs – Workshop, Wroclaw 17 September 2015

During 2 years, a team of 7 partners from 5 EU countries (Poland, Germany, UK, Greece, France) worked on identifying skills and competences necessary to take advantage of digital technolgoies for learning. The results are 5 consolidated profiles of job descriptions that will help to adjust curricula to market needs, and training guidelines. These were presented at this international workshop, followed by discussions with the audience and experts.

Results of the 2nd Polish roundtable

The 2nd Polish roundtable meeting within the ProInterNet Project, organized by the Wroclaw University of Economics (WUE), was held on the 04th of June 2012.
The meeting was attended mainly by representatives of training companies, as well as ICT companies and educational institutions. As many as 18 people gathered and discussed the topics from the agenda.

Engouement pour la conférence « Les Croisements Numériques »

La Conférence du 22 mai 2012 « Les Croisements Numériques » a réuni à Bordeaux plus de 150 participants. Un engouement à la hauteur d’un secteur en pleine expansion …en Europe et dans l’agglomération bordelaise.
5 profils de postes, élaborés selon le Cadre Européen d’e-Compétences, ont été mis en avant :
Responsable de communauté en ligne (Community Manager)
« Les recruteurs s’intéressent aux écoles d’où proviennent les candidats. Cependant, très peu d’écoles présentent avec précision leurs formations. Le candidat ne doit pas faire l’impasse sur la culture générale. Elle génère des dispositions et oriente la manière de jauger une situation. Les femmes bien qu’elles soient encore peu nombreuses dans ces métiers ont l’avantage d’avoir un soucis du détail indispensable à la bonne réalisation de projets numériques ». François Adoue – Responsable français de l’Observatoire Européen des Métiers de l’Internet.

The e-Jobs Observatory platform now includes a new section on e-Jobs Profiles to provide information about ongoing work on e-jobs descriptions. The sections contains descriptive information about each job profile as well as the option to comment it. You can find here below the names of the first 14 new e-Job descrptions:

The profiles have been generated by the following initiatives:

-The EQF-Code project. The EQF-Code project aims at transferring and applying the European Qualification Framework and e-Competence Framework to Multimedia professions in the field of Content Development.
-The EQF i-Serve project. The EQF i-Serve project aims at helping training organizations to develop trainings that correspond to the needs of the industry and are based on emerging knowledge, skills and competences description standards that guarantee comparability across Europe. The profiles are based on the e-Competence Framework of CEN.
-The Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS) under the EUCIP programme. EUCIP creates confidence in a pan-European skills standard for ICT Professionals, helps to close the IT skills gap, and increases the labour market value of certified practitioners.
CompTIA TechCareer Compass, a worldwide Information Technology (IT) repository for resources critical in attracting, training and developing properly skilled IT workers.
